about

These recordings provide a little glimpse at the range and energy of one of Washington, D.C.'s premier rock bands. The Jammin' Java set from April 29, 2015 was in support of Seattle alternative rockers Candlebox, whom Black Dog Prowl would open for at the sold-out Teatro Cariola in Santiago, Chile at the end of 2015.

The Rock & Roll Hotel performance from December 16, 2016 closed out an eventful 2016 for the band and set the tone for what was to come in 2017 with the first ever live performance of 'Salt the Earth.'

Neither of these recordings are professionally tracked or mastered, hence the title. Kept raw and unfiltered by design, this record, which BDP hopes to distribute free of charge where possible, is a thank you to everyone who has supported the band over the years and hopefully a gateway to those who have yet to experience a live show to get off their butts.
